Flora of the Northern Tablelands area

  at 10:32 pm 0 comments
Common names may vary in this list but each species has it's correct scientific name.

I have listed below all native Australian plants that are native to or are growing as natives in the Northern Tablelands area. It's possible they are all natives of the Tenterfield area but may have gone extinct in Tenterfield due to removal of native flora and animal grazing. It will take a while to complete and there are no introduced species in this list.

There is no possible way I can grow all of these species in my garden. But I do have ideas of giving plants away to a friend in the immediate area who will happily grow them (and other things) in her garden.

(?) Probably extinct in area
*** Have planted elsewhere
** Have given away to a friend who lives 10kms from Tenterfield
*   Growing in my own garden
( a number) Brackets containing a number after any combination of coloured stars denotes how many plants exist/given away.
